As you might expect a church to say, worship is the primary reason for our existence as a church. But at Faith Church, we mean something more than just gathering together on Sunday morning. Of course Sunday mornings are essential. We do together what we cannot do alone: we encourage one another in prayer, we serve one another with our gifts, and we grow closer as a community of faith. But Sunday worship is also a time to remember and recommit.
At Faith Church this understanding comes to fullest expression at the Lord's Table (or Holy Communion or Eucharist). There we remember all that God has shown us in Christ, and recommit ourselves to God's mission in Christ--through us, the Body of Christ in the world today.
So at Faith Church, by worship we mean praising God and entrusting our lives to God's care--what we do on Sunday mornings. But we also mean living as Christ's disciples in the places where the Spirit has us living throughout the week. We hope you'll join us!
